The next three weeks of Big East basketball should be OK

Tell me this isn't fun.

I wanted this to be the first installment of "if the Big East Tournament started today," but the standings are just too jumbled and the tiebreakers too intricate and large in number for me to work through right now. That's a very small number of games separating a very large number of teams.

yeah a started to look at it to see if i could come up with seeding....

and quickly realized it would take a long time. It doenst help that certain teams havent played each other at all and certain teams have already played 2 times. As far as i can figure, the top seeds would be in order:
UConn
UL
Pitt
Marquette

yeah, thats why i only tried to figure out the top 4. Since its basically a 4 way tie at the top

its basically a 4 way tie at the top, a couple 3 or 4 way ties in the middle, and a couple teams that could slide up or down. You almost have the top 4 in a group, the middle 8 in a group, and the bottom 4 in a group, but like dlpfis79 says, if any team hit a run of wins or losses, they can all move up or down a lot.
