Cluttered concerns about where college basketball might one day take him often prevented Louisville swingman Terrence Williams from consistently dipping deep into his toolbox of talents.
On occasion during his previous three seasons, Williams would spend so much time thinking about his future that he couldn’t sustain success in the present. When his skills were expected to help navigate Louisville through its early growing pains in the Big East, he was looking to see if the NBA scouts were watching.

His performance was certainly scary.
Just not to the Irish. It seemed like he was doing a lot of “camping out beyond the arc” and “thinking about where he might be next year.”
