Around SBN: MLB Trade Deadline: Astros' fans react to Oswalt trade

This is a bit of a bummer.

Gonzales, who played under Urban Meyer at Colorado State in the early ’90s and has been a member of his staff for the past eight years, said via text message this morning that he will not be the offensive coordinator at Louisville, as is being reported by the site footballcoachscoop.com.

"No — I am NOT going," said Gonzales, 38, the Gators’ primary recruiter in South Florida.

But that doesn’t mean Strong won’t cherry-pick a few coaches from Florida’s staff.

Two names being thrown around as Strong’s offensive and defensive coordinators are Kenny Carter, Florida’s running backs coach, and Vance Bedford, the Gators’ cornerbacks coach.

Mike said only bowl game

he was watching was the Cincy/Florida. Even without Strong coming to UofL this was the only game I would watch too.

Well, the Rose Bowl is sweet with it’s tradition-still playing on New Year’s, the late afternoon to dusk setting sun, etc. Plus a local interest with Oregon playing and I really dislike Buckeye fans having lived in C-bus for a year.

Anyway, with Strong coaching it give just another new dimension.

There’s a Keg O’ Nails cosmic connection there.

If Florida wins...

do you think the Bearcats would let us have the Keg O’ Nails back?

Are you serious?

Regardless of the outcome, Coach Strong is bringing that Keg back to Louisville with him!!

One baseball game, he came to the plate and heard a woman in the crowd shout to the pitcher, "I'll make you a chocolate cake if you strike out that 'so-and-so'!" Says Strong: "I hit that ball out of the park. Then I looked at her like, 'Do I get a cake now?' "

OC and DC are going to be better than Krag o nails

Who ever it may be. I think is a whole lot better than the head coach and offensive coordinator and any other hat that Kragthorpe was. I know that with anyone that Strong brings in and names as coaches are going to be someone that are deep into recruiting and excelled at their job. This is a reat time again for the Cards football program. Oh and watch out cincy we are wanting our bucket back. so put some real nails in it this coming year and not that fake one you have.

If anyone doesn’t know the real one got retired and a new one is being used and no nails are in it..
