Tony Stallings next RB coach?
According to Tony Stallings' facebook profile, he desires to be the next running backs coach at UofL.
"Well, after much prayer with my wife and family, I have made my intentions known, that I desire to be the next Running Backs coach at the University of Louisville. We will see what God has to say about this endeavor. Those of you who always pray for my family and I, please continue to do so, and please add this to the list. Thank you. God Bless. GO CARDS."

It would be great to see former players back on the staff
Does he have any previous coaching experience?

He coached running backs at KCD
That’s like the same thing, right?
Haha...wait--KCD has football?
Played them every year in soccer, never remember seeing a football field.

I know that he also coached...
at Christian Academy (my alma mater) for a season or two. He’s definitely a player favorite and very high energy.
/basically irrelevant

Changed to Whitefield Academy around then
I’m a ’99 HBS Grad. Growing up at Highview, I always thought we were the most white trash christian school…and then we played Evangel in soccer.

Oh goddd, that's taking me back.
I went to Collegiate until 6th grade.. Needless to say, we got smoked by everyone, but I remember the Evangel game hurting more than average..
Collegiate's HS soccer team was good when I played in the late 90s
Evangel…not so much.

Also a similar but unrelated note
Ellis Myles coaches JV basketball at Collegiate.
Isn’t Ellis Myles from Compton? Isn’t Collegiate.. well, Collegiate?
I’m sure Ellis can relate to the life experiences of high school kids who go to Collegiate….
haha
I heard Trent Guy was going to coach soccer at Walden next year.

not much "experience" at all...
if you compare that to the guy he’d be replacing (Nord) who was on the previous 4 UofL staffs…15 straight years, wouldn’t consider that an improvement
Valid point...
but tenure doesn’t necessarily equal superior coaching ability. That said, I certainly hope Coach Nord remains on staff in some capacity.
I've not had much problem with the running backs we've had and developed.
Seriously, of all our positions in the last decade, RBs have been a gem.

yeah i don't know how much "coaching" you actually do for running backs
other than telling them to hold on to the ball and where to run, most of being a running back is instinct and natural ability
I have to believe these guys getting paid
as much as a Rocket Scientist (trust me, I know) ARE EXPECTED to do something to earn their keep.
