Hitler has had it with John Calipari

There are a number of these videos (taken from the film Downfall) floating around YouTube, but this one is especially well done and prescient.

The Ashley Judd part was pretty funny,

but I’m confused. Hitler is evil, right? So if Hitler hates Calipari, then this video is pro-Calipari? Also, if Hitler is sympathetic to Memphis, does that make Memphis evil?

there is a bit of convuluted thinking going on here...but the same could be said of any

Adam Sandler movie too

and there’s humor in both (BTW, the Ashley Judd part was the funniest for me)

I think it's possible the maker of the video actually ignored the "Hitler is evil" aspect.

They found a clever vehicle for airing their anti-Calipari views. But when I see (or read through sub-titles) that Hilter considers some guy (I’m guessing it’s Memphis’ new coach) an “honorable young man,” I emidiately picture that guy mowing down a family of innocent Jews. I think the creator of this little jem needs to go back to the drawing board.

BTW, Adam Sandler is a great man.

Hitler represents the NCAA, which is evil. The NCAA hates Calipari because he openly bends their rules (or breaks them).

Calipari could be like the USSR, and UofL is the USA. We hate the NCAA (Hitler), and we hate the USSR. But the USSR also hates Hitler and Hitler hates the USSR.

my two favorite parts

“We call them the Memptucky Tigers” and “Don’t worry, he won’t hurt Ashley Judd”

haha that was great. the Romo version has no chance against this.

Thought the Romo version was a tad overrated

Although the “you know what the worst part about this is? I just bought a T.O. jersey” sequence is brilliant.

Actually...

A few weeks ago I named them “Memphucky”. My Card buddies seem to like it.

Mike,

I know this is probably the wrong week for it, but that is just freaking hilarious……..
And I think Coach Cal would think so too. I had never pictured Myles Brand as Hitler before , but it suits the NCAA to be compared to the NAZI party.

Best laugh I have had all month.

See you Saturday!!

Remember, we're having fun now!!!
