Terrence Jennings suspended for Louisiana-Lafayette game

It wouldn't be December...

University of Louisville sophomore forward Terrence Jennings has been suspended for the Cardinals' Dec. 23 game against Louisiana Lafayette for a violation of team rules.

U of L Coach Rick Pitino had planned to start Jennings on Wednesday for the first time in his career in the same frontcourt with Samardo Samuels, a lineup many Cardinal fans had hoped to see.

Had to have been for the shirt.

catch a break?

He was suspended for an unspecified violation of team rules. Hopefully he learns a lesson from this.

Better tomorrow night than January 2.

they would?

I thought Pitino said he wasn’t going to play them tpgether.

Sorta like...

..how they were going to play together last spring, and then SS gets his eye poked out and Rick didn’t go back to it.

Against UK/Big East, those two guys are going to HAVE to play together. A 2-3 zone with Delk/Kuric, SS and Swop would get mauled on the boards. We rebounded well last year because T-Will and Earl would just jump and grab balls over guys.

What the hell TJ. Wonder what he did?

Does anyone really believe Pitino was going to start these two together. I don’t. This sounds like another mind game from Rick. We’ll see, I guess.

He did play them together

I believe it was one of the exhibition games or first regular season home game.

I don't know if the shirt comment was a joke...

But he was clearly in Sully’s bathroom in that picture and that’s not a good place for a 20 year old basketball player to be in a picture.

He’s underage in a bar. Illegal and probably not a good idea to have a picture evidence of it. Also it is a restaurant during the day, but the service guys from what I remember are only in the bathrooms when it converts to a bar.

One baseball game, he came to the plate and heard a woman in the crowd shout to the pitcher, "I'll make you a chocolate cake if you strike out that 'so-and-so'!" Says Strong: "I hit that ball out of the park. Then I looked at her like, 'Do I get a cake now?' "

Give the kid a break

he’s been 21 for less than 2 months. I’d be at out too. Except, I swear, I saw him out at Wick’s Wednesday Night last December around this time.

Wednesdays

in the bar part of the restaurant after 9 or 10 it’s all you can eat and drink, pizza and beer, for $10. I’m sure he was just there for the pizza.

Remember Gerald Fitch and whoever the other guy was that caught for UK?

Coach-speak

Every time I hear “violation of team rules” I think weed, curfew and tardiness in that order.
