Mike, I gotta ask...

…what’s up with ADMM? Is he injured?!?

by JustCards on Dec 16, 2009 6:31 PM EST reply actions

Mine was also shaken...

…you know the ole’ saying, “you gotta get back up on that horse”. I hope to see him back soon. We need his MoJo.

What's with the crap games on Espn 2 tonight?

Wright State-Mississippi State? Arkansas Little Rock-South Alabama? I know it’s finals time, but damn homie put on a real game

by cardscott5 on Dec 16, 2009 7:05 PM EST reply actions

yikes

he was falling away and to his right on that last 3 attempt! haha

Sosa is damn near perfect

from top of the key or at the sides up top…baseline? not so much. Stick to straight away, Eddie

by twistedwedge on Dec 17, 2009 1:39 AM EST up reply actions

I gotta say

They might not be good, but we look better.

by Chris Redman is my hero on Dec 16, 2009 7:24 PM EST reply actions

and I mean that in the sense

that we look better than we did the last couple of games.

Ladies having a tough time

Down 23-3 at UT. Wish we could’ve played them last year.

by centrecard on Dec 16, 2009 7:24 PM EST reply actions

tough game

UT beat Rutgers by 14 at Rutgers.

by UL is my hot hot sex on Dec 16, 2009 7:28 PM EST up reply actions

Even our pizza man.

I lost $1 for my pride, by not entering a UKCoachK coupon code on my Papa John’s pizza order last week here in New Mexico.

Is that true

TJ projected as a 3 in the NBA?

by CamIam on Dec 16, 2009 7:31 PM EST reply actions

That doesn't sound right.

Four maybe, but a 6’10" 3? I don’t know about all that. Samuels has much more of a chance of that.

by CARD_G6 on Dec 16, 2009 7:32 PM EST up reply actions

I think Pitino really lit a fire.

According to Twitter, everybody got a nice nap before the game, so maybe the finals stress had something to do with sloppy playing too.

by CARD_G6 on Dec 16, 2009 7:35 PM EST reply actions

The football team had book club, the basketball team has naptime

I don’t buy the finals thing. The game was on Saturday, a non school day.

by cardscott5 on Dec 16, 2009 7:36 PM EST up reply actions

but when 1/2 the team had a final on the Friday before

and another 1/2 had a final the following monday… heads might not be in the game fully.

by Remote Cardinal on Dec 16, 2009 7:38 PM EST up reply actions

Finals are a big deal for many atheletes.

I don’t think it’s completely the reason (nor an excuse), but I’d definitely label it as a factor.

by Remote Cardinal on Dec 16, 2009 7:41 PM EST up reply actions

There is such a thing as a saturday final...

Had 4 of them in my time at UofL. Anytime from 8 to 5.

by ul_alum on Dec 16, 2009 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

why TJ!?

you’ve got to be kidding. that’s the worst post defense i’ve ever seen.

by quiet cardinal on Dec 16, 2009 7:36 PM EST reply actions

Delk with authority

We haven’t looked this good all year. ORU looks horrible. Completely overmatched

by cardscott5 on Dec 16, 2009 7:52 PM EST reply actions

agree with Valvano

Prove you can play an entire game with this intensity and level of execution on offense. 2nd Half will show whether this team is headed in the right direction or just on cruise control against a vastly inferior opponent.

by UL is my hot hot sex on Dec 16, 2009 7:58 PM EST reply actions

No kidding.

That better make Sportscenter Top 10. That was just insane. Especially considering he’s probably the nerdiest looking scholarship player in the Big East.

by CARD_G6 on Dec 16, 2009 8:32 PM EST up reply actions

Seriously..

Getting dunked on by KK has got to bring you down mentally as a defender, not on the basis of ability, but for the fear that someone, somewhere just turned that dunk into a poster.

by Remote Cardinal on Dec 16, 2009 8:33 PM EST up reply actions

Double Oop!!

I’ve never seen that before

by cardscott5 on Dec 16, 2009 8:46 PM EST reply actions

SVT could use more footspeed

He nearly breaks an ankle every cross-over dribble.

by Remote Cardinal on Dec 16, 2009 8:51 PM EST reply actions

Samuels...take note

of that last Jennings finish on the and 1

by Remote Cardinal on Dec 16, 2009 8:58 PM EST reply actions

Good win.

Let’s extend it against WKU.

by CARD_G6 on Dec 16, 2009 9:00 PM EST reply actions

Had to take my daughter out to birthday dinner

Missed all but the last minute and a half, but reading the open thread makes me feel almost like I was there. Thanks to all!

by rickmbari on Dec 16, 2009 9:12 PM EST reply actions

Im cautiously optomistic

about the next game. I still remember last years WKU game…

by twistedwedge on Dec 17, 2009 1:44 AM EST reply actions

They beat Vandy

who I think is comparable to us. I don’t know why, but I think that anyway

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
