Greg Nord to Illinois
After 15 years on the Louisville football coaching staff, Greg Nord is headed to Illinois where he will coach the tight ends. He had spent time coaching both the tight ends and running backs at U of L, and was the current recruiting coordinator.
In Champaign, Nord will be re-united with former Cardinal offensive coordinator Paul Petrino, who reportedly signed on as a member of Ron Zook's staff last night.
Best of luck to Coach Nord at Illinois.

This was one guy...
I hoped Charlie would keep on his staff. He’s like the Louisville version of coach Strong was at Louisville. Oh well… I wish Greg the best of luck with his endeavors. Paul Petrino to Illinois as well? What is Bobby P doing down there in Arkansas to run these people off?
Not sure Bobby ran him off
Paul is just probably looking for a situation where he’ll be allowed to call plays, something he can’t do under his bro.

is joining them there as well… geeze. It’s like the UofL of the north.
Speaking of twitter and Cards football...
While it’s great to see so many fans spreading word of such hope and excitement, the real Charlie Strong twitter account is here: http://twitter.com/CharlieStrong10
How do I know? Try looking for twitter.com/Kragthorpe… doesn’t exist because that board was changed to CharlieStrong10. Krag’s old comments are still on that account.
