The Gode.....the bad......the ugly
My distaste for Luke Harangody just jumped a notch or two. From the article in SI:
"When Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry told Harangody that the Cavs considered former Louisville forward Earl Clark a better pro prospect, Harangody told him, 'I have a f------ problem with that'."
Maybe he forgot about this?

A.) How could he possibly think he’s better than Earl.
B.) I’m sure NBA GM’s love when kids tell them they have an “F’ing problem” with their advice and analysis.
C.) Luke Harangody is a good college player…but he will suck in the NBA.

Earl is apparently having a tough time
making the transition to the league. I suppose that’s to be expected because he’s pretty young. Harangody will play in the league, too, but I can’t imagine that he’ll be a star. Clark seems to have a lot more potential. Luke will sign a contract or two and then disappear.

I hate to say this but Harangody is far more mentally tough, far more show up with full effort on an every day basis. Earl has more physical potential but the higher up you go in basketball the more important the mental aspect becomes. Earl needs to continue to mature and learn to work really hard every minute of every day. If he doesn’t he won’t last long.
To be fair...
Not a big fan of the comment, but I’m not sure Seth David should have published it. It was obviously “off the record.” While I’ll acknowledge he’s been ugly doing it (both his game and his face), Harangody has been a dominant force in the Big East. You can’t argue with that.
