I haven't seen a picture of Alvin Simms in years...

…here’s hoping he can maintain the ADMM tradition.

really like Jump'n Alvin Simms...

…he brought a nice energy to the game last night. i’d like to have him back for a few more games, please!

Love it

Alvin Simms. That kid had mad hops straight out of Paris, Kentucky. I was in school when he was a Card. Amazing athletic ability. I"m thinking this photo is good karma for us. Tick Rodgers (Shelby County?) would be good too like Jimmy said. How about a the feathered haircut look of Jeff Hall (Ashland) a la ‘86? Let’s keep it local this year.

I'm not used to Samardo being 15

at least when he’s not near the basket

Nice shot by preston

Contested, Rick won’t like that, but hey, he made it.

by bartenpa on Nov 4, 2009 7:12 PM EST reply actions

I like that starting 5

would like to see more of the 3 guard 2 bigs with our fwrds being what they seem to be

Lots of pushing samuels into position on d

Delk makes a jump shot

I didn’t think it was possible

This team is quick.

Like, really quick. Help defense is so much better, guys are flying to the ball.

Much much better than a week ago.

Bellarmine has a good sound team

But we look sharp— and much quickr

Siva brings instant energy on both sides of ball

Takes over a game…at least against this level of opponent

Nice tribute to Lancaster Gordon at timeout

Lancaster thanked crowd for allowing him to be a part of the party that had been going on all these yrs

by frankpos on Nov 4, 2009 7:50 PM EST via mobile reply actions

Damn he's fast

Samardo’s going to get a lot of easy putbacks this year with Siva on the floor..

by bartenpa on Nov 4, 2009 7:53 PM EST reply actions

I know he missed it

But Siva just exploded past that defender.

by Cool Hand Cards on Nov 4, 2009 7:53 PM EST reply actions

That was seriously!!

The funniest halftime interview I have ever seen in my life!!! “Will you press us in the second half?” HAHA!!

depends on how much the boosters pay him

but no, I wouldn’t laugh at anyone suggesting that he’s probably gone in three or less barring injury.

Buckles pops a 3

it’s 82-56. No Syracuse problems with us

Ugh...

…had to give up my tickets and have missed the game because of work.

Sounds like we are rocking it. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s longer descriptions about the game.

Can anyone give me their summaries of what has worked, what hasn’t, who has looked good, etc? I guess Siva is the real deal?

Thanks.

by CardsFan922 on Nov 4, 2009 8:56 PM EST reply actions

summary

we shot the ball well, especially sosa and preston. samuels dominated again since they have no inside players. siva is pretty exciting. we played pretty much all man to man and didn’t press, so it’s hard to say anything about the defense. we just blitzed them. we looked good.

by cardscott5 on Nov 4, 2009 8:59 PM EST up reply actions

Just a real good effort tonight-- much sharper

Than last game.

Good ball movement, few to’s, over 50% shooting both halves

and big rebounding advantage

and bellarmine is a good solid team with some height, skill, and shooters

by frankpos on Nov 4, 2009 8:56 PM EST via mobile reply actions

Good Game

Cards looked much better than last game. Bellarmine was no UCONN but they are no slouch team.

Peyton Siva!

Reverse dunk & block made it onto ESPN’s Top Ten Plays of the day…TWICE!!

Video Link

No TV for me this morning, can someone post a link to the block and dunk or just game highlights in general?
