"Chris Redman just broke it on the Falcons radio show, of all people. He said Strong's kids have been enrolled in school already." - beej67

While you're over there looking at that, ask if we can have Anthony Allen back.

Do you know which station?

I went to the site but it only says an Atlanta Falcon radio show…..this is HUGE! I wish we could confirm though.

I guess that settles that.

Interesting

Curious as to why Redman said this. If it’s true, does he just want to be the guy that leaked it?

They start talking about it at the 51 minute mark.
He mentions that his son his already enrolled at Trinity. However, his only son is in College in Chicago. Maybe he meant his daughters?

I'm torn with different emotions.

If this is true…

First, I’m psyched that the Charlie Strong thing is becoming reality.

Second, I’m disappointed in Chris Redman. I find it hard to believe that either Coach Strong or the U of L administration granted Chris permission to leak this. Seems like an attention whore kind of move.

Third, I feel really bad for the Florida defensive players. Maybe I’m just a little too empathetic, but I remember the devistation of hearing that our coach was leaving in the middle of a bowl game. These players are weeks away from achieving the ultimate goal of any college athlete, and it would have been nice if they could have finished it out without this news weighing on them.

From listening to the above link...

it sounds like just a lot more conjecture based on “sources” (probably the Internet) and no actual fact. Not saying it’s not going to be him (I believe it will be), but I don’t think Chris has any inside information, and was just more talking about who he thought it would be and tossed a few jokes in there for good measure.
