Hey! There is cause for celebration

that has nothing to do with poor Eric Wood’s leg. This is it — the last week of the worst three year period in American football history. The end of the Kragthorpian era. The last week we’ll be anticipating that lost deer-in-the-headlights look. The last week we’ll worry about seeing not enough people on the line of scrimmage — or on the field! The last week of this remarkable leap from a precipice to a gully.

…..that his ancestors captained both the Titanic and the Hindenberg. And probably did advance scouting for Custer.

I cringed…..big time. Best of luck to Mr. Wood for a speedy recovery..hopefully he comes back in time to share some more playing time with his former QB and fellow teammate Brian Brohm
