Did you know we have three games in three days?
In case you didn’t hear it the 63 times they’ve mentioned it in the pregame show.
"It's not the South, it's not Chicago, and you don't think of it as you think of New York or L.A. It has some Southern romanticism to it, but also a Northern progressivism, this weird urban island in the middle of the state of Kentucky...For us, Louisville and the surrounding areas are the center of massive creativity and massive weirdness." - Jim James, My Morning Jacket
The Hall of Fame Classic
Every year they play 3 games in 3 days, and every year it has a different title.
Courtside-- new intro-- much like last yr with
The Twill scream.

Woo
I hated the intro we used the past few games.

At the end a wild- eyed George Goode yelling
Get up on your feet!

Samuels Rebounding
is my single greatest worry for the season.
One fell right to him and he looked freaked out.

30 seconds behind
I can’t watch this thread real time anymore

Me too.
I was hoping the Token meant a dunk.

Think this 3 guard switch will be a common thing?
by Remote Cardinal on Nov 21, 2009 4:21 PM EST reply actions
can't see it during Conf play
but 3 games in 3 days…
by UL is my hot hot sex on Nov 21, 2009 4:23 PM EST up reply actions
Samuels was listening to me...
5 bounds so far.
by Remote Cardinal on Nov 21, 2009 4:23 PM EST reply actions
Doesn't necessarily invalidate your point
But he did have a nice deflection there
by SpeedStudent on Nov 21, 2009 4:27 PM EST up reply actions
I agree.
They lost their best playmaker last season, right?

As much as I like ESPN360
Every break in action when it comes back, my speakers hiss. Then I click “GO LIVE” and it jumps back like 15 seconds with audio back to normal.

This etsu team was in NCAA tourney last yr
But is 2-3 this yr with losses to nondescrpit teams— like Morgan st one of the other teams in this mini tourney
I think that will come in time
We didn’t get great last year at “anticipating the pass” as Pitino put it until January or February.

Kuric
Seems like he is the forgotten guy on this team so far
Btw-- in case anyone wants it, I've got a Chris Brickley mag cover
On today’s program
AND
a Chris Brickley cardboard poster inside…
To say Van Treese has a lot to learn...
is a huge understatement.
Bigs always have to relearn both ends of their game, but this guy has a long way to go.
That said, I like him and hope he’ll get some valuable minutes this year.
by Remote Cardinal on Nov 21, 2009 4:44 PM EST reply actions
he should get a chance to play the next few days
it will probably be his only significant minutes of the season.
Jerry has done little to increase his value to the team since his Freshman year
sans cheerleading
by UL is my hot hot sex on Nov 21, 2009 4:44 PM EST reply actions
His regression or stagnation is really disappointing
Especially since he seems to not shoot unless wide open. And the reaching fouls are just annoying
Sosa is the key to our season
He is going to have to take us wherever we end up going. Or this is hyperbole in a boring game when he is playing well. Either or
I think he'll certainly be a huge part of our season
But I think we can only make a decent run if our 4 position plays decent.

ND-UCONN 17-17
Will there coaching search effect ours any?
ND has ball on UConn 30 after..
a crappy UConn Series,
a crappy UConn Punt, and
a decent ND Return.

360 is better quality
but justin.tv is live and 30 seconds ahead of 360

What radio station is the game being broadcast on?
I have to get ready to head up to Shepherdsville for a family Thanksgiving dinner and was wanting to listen to it on the way up… ugh.
Not listening too it right now but...
it will either 840 whas or 790am
This is a ragged, sloppy game
We shot in 38% in first half, 30% on 3’s
and still blew them away
not a pretty effort

I had a friend say that the "sleeve" that players wear is to conceal a slur of some sort...
…any validity?
If I could just figure out how to post photos from my iPhone to my comments
I’d really be cool..
And u all would get a look at a flock of ladybirds crammed against my seat
Try this...
…Scroll down to Additional Options and select Manage Attachments while posting a thread.
Depends on who's asking
Grandma: It gives me better circulation, granny, improves my game!
Girlfriend: To cover my slurs, &#$*&!

This is one of those games where
when we look at the schedule at the end of the year, no one will remember this. Utterly boring and non eventful. Hopefully I didn’t jinx an injury
Token Denny crum shot
One of biggest cheers from lackusyer crowd— that really wants to let loose
by frankpos on Nov 21, 2009 5:51 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Crud.
UConn missed a 37 yd FG for the win.
by Remote Cardinal on Nov 21, 2009 5:52 PM EST reply actions
Should have beaten this team by at least 20
Very disjointed game
by frankpos on Nov 21, 2009 5:56 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Think Pitino told them to take it easy?
They had the game well in hand early and they have 2 more games in the next 2 days.
no--at the post game presser, he said the Cards played an all round bad game
starting with poor ball movement , leading to challenged/poor shot selection, leading to poor shooting, leading to lack of ability to apply the D press.
And it comes as no surprise that he was not pleased by the Cards getting out-rebounded by 11 by a much smaller team in the second half
nice
gogo more Big East Teams in bowls

what station is the UConn ND game on
if you say ESPNU I’ll cry.
by Remote Cardinal on Nov 21, 2009 6:02 PM EST reply actions
Also, what's up with Rutgers at Syracuse
13 to 24 in the 4th, 7:23 to go
by Remote Cardinal on Nov 21, 2009 6:03 PM EST reply actions
The Randy Edsall postgame interview was really nice.
Unlike the second half of the basketball game. 2-0. The march to undefeated continues
Marra: The New Will Scott
Same story. Pitino talks this guy up like he can drop it in from anywhere. “He’s the best shooter on the team.” He gets in there and………….crickets
Hope he shakes the jitters soon and puts his practice performances in the game.
