Goddammit Providence

But what a game by the ‘Cuse, especially during that second half. Love how Vitale couldn’t bring himself to say that Syracuse deserves to be in the top 5 even after they dismantled his beloved Tarheals (he suggested top 15). Boeheim’s team is playing some of the best Orange basketball I’ve seen with a quick offense and an aggressive zone without the likes of Devendorf (massive tool) and Flynn (massive man crush… though not quite PK level). Congrats to the Orange on their second huge win in a matter of hours. Let’s go Big East!

Yeah, thats some impressive balling.

It especially impressive considering how NC killed OSU yesterday. The Orange were the lowest ranked coming into that tourney. Even crazier because they lost to Le Moyne in an exhibition game (just barely). They were close to home and practically had home field advantage, but still, to ball on two huge programs like that is insane.

I can't wait

to see the rankings on Monday. Hoping some upset teams take big falls, some almost upset teams drop a few spots, and some dominant teams like Syracuse and Louisville pop up a few notches. I wouldn’t expect anything huge for Louisville though, most analyst are discrediting our victory because Arkansas had 5 players suspended, despite their 130pt opening game.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
