K Day.....How Will U Celebrate

We're way past questions of K staying .....It's just a matter of time and who the replacement will be.

And how will u celebrate that fine and sunny day (no matter what the true weather may bring...)  ?

Personally, the moment i hear the WORD, I believe I will pull out the finest bourbon I have, and have  a wee bit or three...

Star-divide

This is for the damn 75 word limit, which we all can't stand but for some reason is left to plague us all

Celebrate

I will also have a drink or 10. If its raining, ill sing and dance in that $hit. Can’t wait. I hope that we don’t have to wait until after the Rutgers game to here the news. Word I’ve been hearing on Card Game its going to happen in Tampa. Heres to hoping this train wreck ends sooner than later.

I read that rumor at Card Game, too.

I’ve been debating on whether or not to go to the game. I live only an hour away from Tampa, and I’ve been to our three previous beatings at Raymond James Stadium. If it could be the last game before the announcement, I guess I will brave the obnoxious USF fans and horrible football I’m bound to see.

Why is it so hard to find tickets in the visitors section?

I’d rather not sit with the over-baked USF riff raff.

The appropriate response includes pants-lessness

As evidenced by Mike’s advocacy of this issue

We shall have a pantless parade in K's honor!

I can only hope it looks like this:

Did I mention I'll be sipping my bourbon while pantless?

I will of course be suited otherwise, being the business day and all….

Better Question, Frank

What is your “finest bourbon”? And have you tried Pappy Van Winkle (15 yr)?

by UL is my hot hot sex on Nov 12, 2009 1:30 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Woodford Reserve is always a good choice. Blanton's is excellent and was one of the first single barrel bourbons

I have not tried Pappy Van Winkle, but have heard others say it’s good. Usually anything over 6 yrs in a bourbon gets to be too woody tasting….

Not a fan of Blanton's for the price

PVW (15 yrs) is slightly cheaper than Blanton’s and better IMO. To each his own…bourbon. And if you like Woodford, have you tried Basil Hayden?

Well, it's the little horsey and jockey on top...

and the cool decanter , that does make a nice Derby or other gift to out of Staters

Basil— very tasty

Haha

It’s like a Christmas ornament on top of a grenade

Sorry, but no rejoicing here

Just can’t bring myself to celebrating how far we’ve fallen, especially when you consider that any new coach would probably require at least 2 years to turn it around. And by “turn around” I mean the St. Petersburg Bowl. Krag’s firing will bring a sense of relief, but little more.

That said, I’ll probably break out the Booker’s. But I’ll take just about any excuse for that. Of course, if somebody wants to send me some 20 year PVW . . . .

No (good) Bourbon in New Mexico...

but I do happen to have a bottle of single-malt scotch that was aged in a bourbon cask. That’ll do just fine for K day.

Let's just hope that

his replacement isn’t W. Kentucky’s old coach.

We need some star power!
