Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

It was all right until he lost consecutive theme games

You can make Louisville fans wear something black to a loss once and get away with it, but twice and they're fighting back with music and lyrics.

that was mean

funny. but mean. really funny. but kind of mean. OK it was funny. I’m gonna try and not get caught up in the rumors but they are so addicting. i feel bad for Krag at times. I know he has had to of hated his life (minus the paycheck) for the past 3 years. i know he wants to do well here, it’s just not gonna happen. I wish the guy luck if and when he is let go.

I can think of 3 million

reasons and counting why I dont feel bad in the least for krag.

I agree completly...

I use to feel bad then I though about it. He can retire tomorrow and be good, while I have to go to work until I’m 60+. He should feel sorry for me.

I would like this more if it wasn't a Jimmy Eat World song he covered.

I guess it’s fitting a shitty coach gets a cover song from a shitty band

Tempted to feel sorry for Steve,

but I can resist the temptation. Why? Because he’s handled things with such a lack of class. Dumping on the Brohms? Totally unnecessary. Blaming the “mess left behind,” inaccurate in the least and disingenuous at its heart. Hate to be redundant but the whole escapade has been a tragedy of mistakes, starting with Mr. Jurich’s decision to put friendship above discretion.

I’m sorry for the guy’s family. But Kragthorpe has tainted the program with the stain of incompetence, and it’s a stain that will take years to remove. He could do the classy thing and resign quickly, but he won’t, if history is any indicator.

Feel bad? huh?

The guy’s made millions of dollars—dollars I’ve spent on jerseys, tickets, gas, cable, beers, paxil, bar food, etc…and he’s set his family up for a long time if he plays his investments right. Do not feel bad for Steve. Maybe his wife and kids a little…but he knew the consequences when he took the job. It’s Division 1 Football…it’s the Big East…it ain’t intramurals.

Gruden Rumor

In case anyone’s wondering the, the premium board at InsideTheVille has come alive with rumors that Gruden is the next coach. Posts starting popping up this afternoon from people with good track records. There was even a private aircraft that flew from Minneapolis to Louisville today. One poster said a local station was tracking down a story that Gruden was house shopping. I know, I know. I just wanted to pass it along.

feelin bad

your comments are justified. its just how i feel. i felt bad for tubby and hell i even felt bad for billy g when whas was chasin him all over lexington. now the real question is would krag still of come here knowing what his result would be? would he take 3 million knowing his kids wee gonna be made fun of and he would be portrayed in the community as a loser instead of a great public figure? i still love ricky p and look what he just got himself into and i still loe petrino after he dissed us. its true man…winning is all that matters. finally…i want u to be assured i gave up on this guy a long timeago and i want him gone. i just feel guilty about it

i dont believe the gruden rumors

numerous nfl jobs open every year. im sure he is waiting on that. plus if he wants to coach college ball im sure he could pull a lane kiffin and get an sec or at least top 25 job.

Can't decide between

the Ned Flanders picture and the one where his face is superimposed into Dr. Stranglove. I hadn’t seen either of those before and they are both just classic.

At least all this losing has peaked our creativity.

Whacker is correct-- a highly reliable person And itv poster know

Got a call out of the blue tofay cocerning Jon gruden looking for a house in crestwood. FYI… It was knownthat TT eas a cosultant on the hiring— but was widely cosidered a dine deal. Mis- direction — or amazing last min negotiations may have hooked an even bigger marlin.

Who the fuck knows at this point— I’m giddy either way and 4 wines onto the meal!
Giddy I tell u!!!

I’m not crushing on TT, but I would be underwhelmed by the guy. IMO, he just would be able to make the same impact here that he did in the SEC. I’m not saying no to the guy by any means. He would be a monumental upgrade.

Careful with that Axe, Eugene

“Jon Gruden looking for a house in Crestwood” sounds exactly like “Billy Donovan’s wife looking for a horse farm in Jessamine County”. And we all know how that ended up. TWICE.

Good luck in the not-so-private search for the Krag-placement, guys.

Hey, Fake, we could care less whether it's Gruden or TT or Jag-whatever up top

We finally got some life and a little fun —-that’s the point.

We got options….

Light at the end of a long tunnel is wonderful

…but that wasn’t my point: I was just alluding to that Real Estate rumors are the often the most fake rumors of all.

Please tell me you guys are posting flight itineraries, too. :)

One More Time for the Gruden Bothers!!!

Hire Jon then put a clause in the contract that he can leave after 3 years and the former U of L QB and Arena Bowl Champ QB and Head Coach Jay can stay at his alma mater and be the head coach. Similar to the Brooks/Phillips and Tiller/Hope arrangement. These brothers can coach and the offense would be like a pinball machine. Jay can teach the QB’s the speed/read/key style used in the arena leagues (think Kurt Warner at St. Louis when they ran up 40-50 points per game). You will get 2 for one and a former record setting alum to boot who gave the ’ville their first winning season in 10 years in 1988. They will recruit Fla, Ga, Al, and Ga to bring the kind of recuits Schnellenberger and Petrino brought in.
