So now we have walk-ons starting at QB and field goal kicker....
may we please have someone walk-on as Coach ??

I agree with Eric Crawford. I don’t see the big deal about Stein starting. I thought he looked pretty good when he played. He threw a good spiral which the others struggled to do. Now if I were Stoudt, I would be pissed, but I don’t think it really matters who plays QB. We suck.

I remember a pretty good Walk-On QB in the Gator Bowl

If I had my preference, I would go with Stoudt. I seem to remember hearing people say if Stein were a few inches taller, he would have been the starter without question.
I think what has so many riled up is that we’re in this position. In year three of phenominal coaching, you would think this wouldn’t be happening. It does seem fitting we’re at this point though.

I don't remember
a blue chip quarterback who was riding the bench behind that walk on

I also remember
that walk on was tall enough to see over the line

Heck, Stein looked fine last game, we can all at least appreciate gutty walk-on stories
like Will ‘s and Ryan’s
and like Whacker says correctly, what does it really matter at this point?
It’s just the perfect storm of ridiculousness
and if we lose—I definitely want to be at that post game presser again

Couldn't agree more
And we have nothing to lose at this point. Give the local kid a shot, maybe more fans will actually show up.

Think TJ could lure...
Paul Johnson away from Georgia Tech and install the triple option offense next year? We would need a QB who can run, but with Vic, DA and Bilal, it might be the way to go…

He can't be any worse
And hey, it added one almost kind of intriguing subplot to the game

How many people actually hope we lose?
…could that make the coach announcement possible? or is that not a possibility either way?

No matter how bad Kragthorpe is..........
I still can’t root for the team to lose. Those kids work hard and deserve a victory. It’s not their fault that their coach is a douche.

Very true, and I don't cheer for a loss, but I guess I (sadly) look on the bright side of a loss. Does anyone think the announcement comes sooner than later if that's the case?

I think if a midseaon announcement was to be made
it would have happened by now for recruiting reasons. I think Jurich is going to sadly let Kragthorpe finish out the season and move on from there.
I just hope (as Mike has said previously) that in the closing weeks of his terrible tenure wearing red and black, he keeps people healthy. Unfortunately, it sounds like from the Cinci game he has other plans…
With Steve at the helm, you can bet on a death by a thousand lashings. His insistance on playing injured players is just one more crack of his already-bloodied whip.

No one...
Likely no one hopes we lose. Just as likely no one will be stunned if we lose.
Actually, I predict that Arkansas St will be the last win of the Kragozoic Era. He’ll end up 3 – 9 this season and 14 – 22 overall, when being 0 – 3 against Kentucky should be sufficient grounds for dismissal.

If history is any indication
Jurich will publicly back Krapthorpe. Even if we get blown out.

I want an announcement now!
I feel like a 5 year old in a toy store crying my eyes on the floor b/c I want a bouncy ball and my mom says NO! I dont want to wait till xmas to find the bouncy ball in my stocking! I want it now! We have to suffer for 4 more weeks? No bowl game. A loss to Syracuse is right around the corner and all we want is stinkin’ announcement!

Cambroni Card
called this a couple of days ago. Good scoop albino squirrel of Belknap Campus.
It really doesn’t matter who the QB is at this point. I just hope the guy tries hard as well as the rest of the team. I’m predicting 28,000 in attendance (and that’s me being trying to be positive).

I'd love to see 27,999..........
………with the one defection being Kragthrope.
All together now:
Goodbye, Stevie, goodbye Stevie, goodbye Stevie, we’re glad to see you go.
