Does the anteater have two heads, the second of which looks like a dog?
Or am i looking at this wrong
Is the game going to be broadcast on Justintv for those of us without ESPNU?
Also, you know what sucks? Even f we some how win this game, it means nothing to the season. We’re almost guaranteed not to make a bowl game, Kragthorpe is still going to be fired and there’s still a high chance we lose to Syracuse….sigh….
Though it would be nice for the players who have worked hard despite having a dipshit as a coach
Especially ones like Scott Long.
Granted...
…I would luv to see the looks on the UC faces if they lose to us. Unfortunately, we have become the Syracuse of Big East football.
Froman 'making his 4th start of the day'
Nice start ESPNU.
Abe Froman was the Sausage King of Chicago in Ferris Buehler
And everyone thinks a hilarious joke because no one has ever been named Froman I guess
Oh... I guess that's funny...
If it was 1986! Anybody? No? Nobody? nevermind…
Cincy has a former QB playing linebacker, and is top five in three defensive stats.
That’s the difference good coaching makes.
You won't need to go to a restaurant
once the Meatball Express and Perfect Brownie spots start rolling.
dammit
we’re going to be down14-0 before Krag can scratch his ass
The Steve Kragthorpe upset formula:
Don’t throw the ball at all on your first possession+run it with your slower backup RB+hand it off from the shotgun on 3rd and 3.
Where did this guy come from, seriously?
Homecoming Fodder
Ah…I didn’t know we were UC’s homecoming fodder.

Yards/Play
What’s UC’s avg. yards/play right now? I missed the first drive, but I bet it’s over 5.
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 3:54 PM EDT reply actions
I think we're getting ready to be 70-7'ed
pay back sucks
How did Mike ever assume Cincy would only score 27?
They’ll probably have that five minutes into the second quarter.
O/U
Over under was like 46? 41?
UC might get it solo
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 3:59 PM EDT up reply actions
Just so I'm clear on the game summary...
Drive 1. Cincy – 78 yds. TD
Drive 2. UL – 8 yds . PUNT
Drive 3. Cincy – 90 yds. TD
If it wasn't for BB, and the facty that I can drinl Bourbon with a valid excuse...
…I wouldn’t be watching this…what’s the word…horror show.
Did we have a defensive gameplan for this game?
I haven’t seen what it could possibly be. Just getting gashed left and right and getting blown off the ball and torched in coverage. We should have fired this defensive coordinator too
Lockdown in the complex
SK’s hole up is paying dividends
Best field position of the day possibly.

UConn
Anyone been charged with the murder of Howard yet?
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 4:11 PM EDT reply actions
no
they mentioned earlier on ESPN that someone is posting threats on the Internet that anyone who provides info to police will be killed. That sounds scary but actually is good from the perspective of finding the responsible person, the police will likely have no trouble finding them after that unless they were smart enough to stay anonymous (which isn’t all that easy for your average person).
Really?
Heading to the public library to post anonymously on the Internet is pretty easy for most people.
most people are too dumb to figure that out
and depending on the library that might not be anonymous either.
It's sad that he's as good he is.
If he was as bad as the rest of the team I wouldn’t feel nearly as bad for him.
We threw it on 1st down? Color me surprised.

Melissa 'Knowles'
That’s gotta be a good sign for us.
Strips on D
How many strips has our D produced this year. Seems like something they should really work on.
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 4:22 PM EDT reply actions
along with
tackling, making interceptions, covering receivers, getting pressure on the qb, not making stupid penalties and stripping the ball like you said. Our defensive coaches suck, and Krag hired them, so he sucks more
If you suck at all those other things...
Stripping the ball still can make you look good.

This defense isnt going to be able to stop Cincy
The score is gonna get embarrassing soon…bad feeling

Looks like a 49 - 7 final to me
If we don’t turn it over.

Reviised : 56 - 8
We will go for two.

is thinking…SON OF A B????. I could have added 500 yards to my Heisman status today.

Sorry, lost all ability to detect such things. Not drinking today.

Ashley
At least he’s got a carry today. Why didn’t he get any vs. UConn?
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 4:33 PM EDT reply actions
turns out Ashley can play…imagine that.

SK thinks if some is good more is better, even on the same set.
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 4:36 PM EDT up reply actions
The defense was ready?
You mean, they weren’t caught off guard with running it to the left five times in a row?
even the commentators knew better
“setting up play action” – uhh, yeah except Krags doesn’t understand that evidently
hmmmmmmmmm steve
lets call the same play 5 times in a row and I wonder how long it will take for them to figure it out
that's the Halloween movie theme song
to salute the fear in Louisville I’d guess
Does K know what misdirection is?
You know, a counter, basically anything besides a sweep or off tackle run?
I thought it was gonna be dropped for sure, too.
by CentreCard86 on Oct 24, 2009 4:41 PM EDT up reply actions
I'm glad I kept watching now.
But now I’m turning it off for sure. This is just going to piss of UC.
by sarasota-card on Oct 24, 2009 4:43 PM EDT up reply actions
Oh we call a timeout to give them a field goal
why not just let them kick the last second fg? Why wouldn’t we sub when they did?
Hard to say.
There really should be a competition. Other nominees:
Going for 1 down 10 against Utah.
Option against UK
Yeah, I think my ranking for the season is..
1. Timeout to allow them to set up rushed FG before half
2. Going for 1 against Utah
3. Option play-call against UK (though I liked that we went for it)
Not dumbest, but certainly up there for most absurd.
Calling a timeout with the clock running on a 51 yard field goal that their kicker probably has a 5% change of making anyway.. then ‘icing’ him with another timeout? Equal parts stupid and useless, IMO.
No, it was a 51 yard field goal.
The Kentucky option was so much worse. The Utah not going for 2 down 10 was much, much stupider.
The only rational explanation I can think of for Krag's playcalling, behavior, etc.
It’s some sort of viral advertising campaign for a movie about a six year old who switches bodies with a successful college football coach.
That Big East commercial was terrible.
I mean, really, really, really bad. Like, so bad, that would make me want to commit to a Big East school less.
how you guys like those two AA "baby bush" highlight clips
Thanks for running him out of town, Steve. Please leave….
So Anthony Allen had another good game...
Man I love the constant reminders of how good we used to be.
some ppl seem to think Urban Meyer may go
to ND. Supposedly its his dream job

Pitt took care of business
USF’s mid-season choke in full effect still.
by Remote Cardinal on Oct 24, 2009 5:07 PM EDT reply actions
I think you underestimate USF's choking abilities.
I think even we could compete with them right now. Remember, last year’s choke-fest started with us last year.
at this point
all optimism has left the building for me

Man that Big East sportsmanship commercial
Really makes me want to commit a personal foul on whoever made it.
I'd believe it
But where were the beauty shots of half-price meat? I can’t picture Steve without him.
We're one or two plays away.
We’ve just got to turn the corner.
Don’t laugh at my Waffle House menu!
Guy we gotta take out that big imflatible Bearcat
That thing is distracting the hell outta me

Krag was super excited we got the first and forgot to call a play.
by CardinalDude on Oct 24, 2009 5:15 PM EDT up reply actions
well they exceeded my expectations
we got 10 on the board. wonder when cincy’s defense is going to wake up?
Goettsche
My guess is that he is on pace for a UL single season record for most punts attempted.
by RB in Bardstown on Oct 24, 2009 5:23 PM EDT reply actions
That is how you return a kickoff
He was at full speed when he caught it.
by RB in Bardstown on Oct 24, 2009 5:25 PM EDT reply actions
I'll be honest with you guys..
I’ve honestly seen this team display very little of anything resembling momentum since the UK game. Any success has looked more like a string of breaks and decent plays.
Word.
This team doesn’t know what it’s like to control a game, because they haven’t really created and protected a lead yet this season (besides SoMiss, i guess).
OT:
but honestly-Geico is bullshit with their claims of “saving money” They were like 20% more expensive for me
You just now giving up?
You are a great fan.
by RB in Bardstown on Oct 24, 2009 5:39 PM EDT up reply actions
I must be a bad fan too
I gave up hoping we would win as soon as I realized that we have a terrible coach and a completely demoralized team. I love U of L, but there’s no point getting invested in a game we’re definitely going to lose.
In all fairness...
that’s true of a a lot of receivers in the Big East.
Things are not going to get better.
Can we win next week?
I am seriously worried.

Can we fire K at the end of the quarter?
by RB in Bardstown on Oct 24, 2009 5:45 PM EDT reply actions
Im sorry but Steve is the one to blame
if Vic is seriously hurt. Why the fuck was he in the game if his leg was still hurt?
by twistedwedge on Oct 24, 2009 5:53 PM EDT up reply actions
It's like Krag realizes Ashley can play
then gives him the ball way too many times in a row.

I just figured it out. We are Temple.

I was about to say.
Maybe this will be the impetus that people need to start watching our soccer team.. (I can dream)
I want to go...but sadly wont be able to
hopefully someone on here will have some good game notes and observations

Cam Graham can't hold on to the ball today
almost like how this game couldn’t hold on to people’s attention. We improved 20 spots in turnover margin this year. Hey hey
Now I know why I am still watching
The Margaritaville Grill. I am ordering now.

A better illustration of our current status:
We are/were Homecoming fodder for 4 of our 6 road games. If you’re scoring, that’s Utah, UConn, UC, and USF. Is that a record?
And for those of you interesting in visiting the location of the talisman du jour . . .
it’s closed. Which seems fitting.
On the bright side, I did find this.
BAG OUT VS. ARKANSAS STATE
I want at least 15,000 bag heads in the stands. The other 25,000 fans will be disguised as empty seats.
