It absolutely would NOT buy him any more time. We’ve been counting down the time he has left since his first disastrous season. The “IF’s” about whether or not he can put together a big enough run to earn a bowl bid are simply way too big. IMHO that would be the only way for him to save his job. 5 wins might earn him another year. But there is no indication that he can be a consisent winner here.
The big question is WHEN he will go if he does get 5+ wins. This year or next? Because all indications are that’s pretty much his ceiling with the kind of talen the recruits.
He has to at least get to 6-6 -- and that may not save him either
And he ain’t gonna get there… 3-9, 4-8 at best…
Kragthorping UC
The only thing a win on Saturday would be is a Kragthorping of UC’s BCS hopes. Sadly, I think this is the first time I’m secretly hoping we lose. I feel dirty now.
