One Month Away...
Another depressing game. Seems as if we have about 2, maybe 2 /12 quarters worth of decent play and then when crumble week after week after week. Jurich saying Coach K is 'my man' is just a way to save face and get through the season at this point. He can't say otherwise at this point. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Keg o' Nails stays in Cincy next week. The season continues to frustrate me. The only thing that keeps me going is the crazy rumors and hopes about who will be the next coach and the banter from my comrades on the Card Chronicle that provide a way to at least laugh a bit about how ridiculous things have gotten.
AND the countdown the the start of the basketball season. We are exactly a month away from opening the season against Arkansa in St. Louis. That's something to keep me happy.
One last thought. I watched some of the Midnight Madness last night. As cool as the idea is I will have to say I'm glad we don't do it. It's gotten ridiculous, cheesy, and just kind of dumb and demeaning. I really have no interest in seeing Edgar Sosa dance to some popular song as he is introduced while Commander Pitino convinces us to drink the red Kool-Aid and tells us how we need to conquer the world. No thanks.

how about BP taking Florida down to the wire
Led 10-3 at the half and at the end 23-20. Florida squeaks one out…talk about adding salt to the wounds
I’m not a Florida fan, but seeing BP get beat is always OK from now on. Penalties killed Arkansas today and they freaked out at the end when they had the lead and never recovered mentally.
oh but wasnt it nice
to see a PREPARED team take the field? BP does not have much more talent, if any at ARK right now and boy did they look ready to play. Thats my biggest gripe with Krap-the lack thereof.

Some things are more important than winning
Honesty and integrity are at the top of the list for University representatives.
He’s a liar and a quitter. Told the Falcons owner twice that he wasn’t going to leave, up to the day before he quit. And he let the players know with a letter.
It’s just tough to see that right now, given that F U CsK is an abject failure at all aspects of being a head coach (except Kroger commercial participation).
All jokes aside, I’m seriously wondering, is this / will this end up being the worst hire in the history of D1 college football?

He's not his best when facing adversity
but he’s a good coach and gets paid to win, which he did a lot of at Louisville. Douchebag? Nah. Asshole? Probably.

wanted: “former” college coach that has the expieriance of taking a fast rising national power football program that nobody wanted to mess with, and totally turn it to shit. we are hiring prison football coaches and we just want to do the right thing, since we know no one else will ever give u a chance to totally destroy another team. the job is in canada so no one will ever know who u are. anybody know anyone that would fit this situation?
