The bright side for Beaumont is that he hasn't been a victim of multiple concussions. Kragthorpe said the staff would watch for any lingering symptoms, and they would be overly cautious about bringing him back.

"Brain injuries, you don't mess with those," (Dr.) Kragthorpe said. "We'll determine as the week goes on how Doug responds to the different tests that we'll give him."

Dr. Strangekrag?

That’s a bummer about Beumont, I hope that kid gets better

That article was dripping with sarcasm and disdain

It was an obvious swipe at cardchronicle.

OK--here's what I've been told--BUT U MUST STOP TYPING IN ALL CAPS, OK

I will simply say FWIW that Tuberville has always been the main candidate—and apparently wants the job— but that Gruden is in the mix—still—as a wild card candidate, that Jurich hopes to land ala Pitino. Apparently, feelers were put out to Gruden’s camp—and they have not been turned down —yet.

That’s the latest I have been told.

Gruden

No way. Read Chuck Kaplan at www.leoweekly.com/score. His info is 100% and I know that because I know the source. Very well I might add.

And in a side note

Two wonderful comments about us in today’s The Sporting News.
1. In the BE recap Syracuse is listed as falling and is nearing the dubious benchmark as falling below Louisville.
2. In the C-USA recap Southern Miss is listed as falling with two recent bad road losses to UAB and Louisville. Imagine how far we have fallen that the fifth ranked C-USA loses to us here with a new QB and it’s considered a bad loss.

And then there’s the no mention is bad news. In the recruiting section a batch of inches were devoted to a tackle committing to UNC. No mention at all of the tackle committing to us.
