How are we still ranked?

It’s great to be ranked, especially when UK isn’t, but I didn’t think we’d be in it at all.

It almost pains me to say it..

But I cant believe UK didnt even get a single vote…IMO they will do better in conference play than some people are expecting.

I also thought for sure we would be 25th tops…

I can believe it...

they haven’t beaten ANYBODY and their SOS is lousey. Until they get into SEC play and beat somebody (and I sure think they will/can do that) they won’t move into the Top 25. If they were the “old Kentucky” and we beat them, we wouldn’t have dropped from 18th to where we are now. If they were the “old Kentucky”, beating them would have offset our losing to UNLV somewhat. Because they are CONSTANTLY beating their own chests and we as U of L fans hear that all the time, we forget that up to now NOBODY outside this state is talking about their program and until they start playing and defeating legitimate competition it will stay that way – times have changed and they’re just not a big deal any more. When Patterson and Meeks beat a few teams up, that sure can change but up to now, it hasn’t.
