Clark hyper-extended knee, will play Wednesday
Phew.
University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino said tonight on his radio show that starting forward Earl Clark suffered a hyper-extended knee in Sunday’s victory at Syracuse.
Pitino said on WHAS Radio that Clark sat out practice today but would return for tomorrow’s session and would be ready for Wednesday game against South Florida.
I would not be surprised to see Jared Swopshire getting the start against the Bulls.

yeah that was definitely one of those
Oh Shit………..please be OK moments…
Hope he is ok cause were definitely going to need his minutes..awfully big shoes to fill there Swop
Bench him for the whole game
I don’t want him anymore hurt.
I say the guards, T-WIll, Jennings and Samuels. Swop looks super-lost whenever he’s out there
agreed
i like swop, but he is useless this year. he looks totally lost on the court and has basically no strength. he needs a summer to hit the weight room and watch a lot of film. i think he’ll definitely be a contributor though, just not immediately.
Swop
He’s not ready to play, even against the Bulls. Go with Delk.
I'd like to see Delk get the start, too
but Pitino has those pro-like substitution patterns, so I’d bet that if he decides to let Clark heal a bit, it’s gonna be Swopshire, flying shooting elbow and all. I’m sure he’s going to be a fine player, but he may be the weakest player to wear a U of L uniform (and actually play) since Ricky (there’s a pass into the pivot…..IT’S COMPLETE!) Gallon.
