Around SBN: 2011 In Extreme Home Runs

According to Pat Forde.

• Defense Department: Louisville (5). The Cardinals top Ken Pomeroy's defensive efficiency stats, but they've been especially merciless at the end of their last two games. Against Notre Dame, Louisville limited the high-octane Irish to a single field goal and 1-for-14 shooting in the final seven minutes of regulation and five minutes of overtime. Then on Saturday, Louisville locked up No. 1 Pitt down the stretch, holding the Panthers to 1-for-16 shooting over the final nine minutes as the Cards rallied from a 10-point deficit.

The whole thing is worth reading.

What's an Autoverzekering?

The banner ad at the top of Card Chronicle today is in Swedish… or German, or some language I can’t read. SB Nation is reaching far and wide to find willing buyers of ad space. Whatever, as long as their supporting my favorite website about my favorite team, I’ll buy whatever van de mensen van OHRA is selling…. which I think is bumper-car insurance.

…Oh and Pat Forte needs to get over Ashley Judd and find a hottie with good sports tastes, like… uh… Becca Manns? Maybe not. Help me out here.

Nicole Scherzinger

grew up in Louisville. Works for me. Now if we can find a picture of her in something sexy and Card-related (like, for example, T-Will pajamas) I think we can convert Forte over to our side.

Attractive?

Low interest rates are attractive. She’s hotter than a June bride in a featherbed.

Nice, very nice

When I see one liners like that, I’m always impressed. It reminds me that you don’t really see stuff like that in pop culture today. That’s one reason I like Roz’s and the other old-school fans’ comments so much, and like this site so much. Man, I love CC.
