Jennings!

What a Mensch! This guy was stout once again and put up BIG minutes near the end.

Well, sure we all loved Earl’s Goty Facial, the amoeba like all court press, Jerry’s outside grenades, but I’ve got to have a little side order of crow with my grog when it comes to SS….besides the early season cupcakes, this is the first time I’ve seen his inside power game, decent short range touch, and raw agressiveness. Encouraging, indeed.

TWILL…I was thinking about mid-way through the second half, about how much we all will miss him, and that senior day will be here before you know it, and that the flawed genius of his game was a major part of his charm, and that, really, there probably won’t be another one like him coming down the road. Somebody pass me a cleenex. Gosh I’ve got a soft spot for him. Why’s love gotta be so sad?

And yet he’s been the FUNNEST Card to watch these past four years.

Edgar, the only cloud. Recidivist.
No matter how many times we pull him from the dark alley, he always has to go back home.

Have a day,
Roz

Sosa played about as good as he's all season.

I didnt think there was Bad Edgar on the court last night...

6p, 2reb, 4assist, 2TO.

IMO Rick went with McGee for the D (which was friggin awesome, BTW)

Well Maybe You Gus Are Right/Billy Thompson

…it just seems as though his turn overs are so spectacularly and unnecessarily bad.

I see that the 82-83 Final Four Cards will be in house for the Pittsburg game and I thought of our forward, Billy Thompson. It’s funny that he is so seldom referred, even on this great board. One of the original Camden Connection guys. On the all time Cardinal team. Two Final Fours. One NCAA Championship. Two NBA rings with the Lakers. Can’t remember one scintilla of bad press about him.

In those days, the team, like Carolina and Duke now, recruited itself, and there were always fresh thoroughbreds in the que.
Thought it would never end.
