Cards get boost from UPS
Athletic director Tom Jurich announced that UPS just committed to a multi-million dollar donation toward Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium expansion plans.
Jurich said he was notified of the company’s decision literally within an hour of the event. He added that the exact dollar figure would come, "hopefully as we get closer to construction."
U of L could use the help after construction costs skyrocketed an estimated $20 million while awaiting state approval. Construction was originally going to start in August, but Jurich said today that they would wait until after the final home game.

That's great news....
is U of L going to expand to the original 63,000 or have they scaled it back under 60,000. Maybe Schnatter’s donation will help us get to that original figure. Great news that the sale of seats is ahead of projection – makes one believe that Louisvillians love their Cardinals……hmmmmmmmmm.
