Thought this was the baseball poll for a second. Actually, I’m just going to pretend that this is a baseball poll. Willful ignorance is surely better than coming to terms with a result this egregiously wrong.
Interesting
Only #’s 2, 3, 4, and 10 are on my all time Top Ten College Football programs…and that’s all the way through the top 21 current USA rankings. Maybe a changing of the guard.
Still, Mr Blunt, it’s been a long time since the hated Maise and Blue were pre season #24. And by the way, I didn’t like the way Rodriguez DID UWV.
And that said, I leave you, as I once again troll down High Street on another Friday night (maybe a quick nip at the Varsity Club), on my way to the North Heidleberg with this:

Now
If we don’t get the spit kicked out of us again by Florida, or LSU, or some other SEC team in the BCS championship, we each can form a solo “Script Ohio” in the center of our home town’s village green, at twelve midnight, sans clothing, on a cold winter’s night come next January. We’ll see if we can get Frank to be the tuba player and dot the “I”.

9th in Big East Pre-season Polls
If the league Commish would quickly let Temple back in we could be picked to finish 9th…if they would let Army and Navy in, too, we could be11th…if he’d also let Duke in…oooops we’d still be 11th.
Well It's Aug 1st and we have the first poll of the season
So that means with the season still being 50 or so days away, we can already discount the 98 or so teams that did not make it into the top 13 as contenders for the national championship. God Bless the BCS.
