Nobody likes Tom Crean

Saw this picture from the Lebron James Skills Academy on Jody Demling's blog, which, if you care about recruiting even slightly, has been a must-read this week.

I think wearing black pants and no socks was the final straw for the last few hangers-on (Tim Buckley).

Pitino and Calipari?

Looks like they are joking around, laughing, etc. I thought they hated each other? Crean is probably sooooo jealous.

Pitino and Calipari

Have been spotted acting chummy multiple times this offseason. I thought it was odd, too.

It looks to me like Crean is glaring at the old UVA assistant (or scout, or whatever) because he stole his seat at the cool kid table. He knows he belongs more than that guy, but the fact that he’s even in this position says wonders about his social standing, and in his heart he knows that, but his inability to face down his own insecurities lead him to deflect his anger.

Maybe he left his socks on his beet farm. The Shrutes are like that sometimes.

That's funny.....

watched a rerun of The Office last night and laughed when I saw Dwight – man they do look alike. Funny blog…..
I wish we’d start playing Memphis again – maybe if Rick and Calipari get chummy enough, that will happen. Does anyone think we might start playing Indiana again maybe next year or the next?

Thanks for your response Frank,

I hope you are right – I think it’d be a great rivalry.

and is that Stanley in the row behind Dwight? There must be a crossword puzzle somewhere

Is Bobby Gonzalez the most hated coach for Cards fans?

Now that Crean is gone, who takes the mantle of most hated coach? I would say Huggins, but there was almost an appreciation when he brought WVU into Freedom Hall last year. Gonzalez gets my vote since he was openly jawing at our players (Sosa during a three-pointer).

Don’t get me wrong. I still hate Crean (and still love the fact that Mike posted his picture every day until the first game last year for us to hate and stare at), but it won’t be the same when Marquette comes to town this winter.

Agreed

It’s gotta be Gonzo at this point. U of L and Seton Hall are still light years away from anything that could be called a rivalry, but the game in Newark last year earns Bobby the distinction for at least this offseason. If WVU beats us twice and Huggins punches Preston or something, then I think we’ll have to re-evaluate matters.

It’s time to renew the IU series…at least for the next three years.

I agree

I almost can’t wait to see his antics next yr

not surprisingly, they are not confined to just our team

he is an equal opportunity a-hole
