Francisco, your time has come.
Sactown Royalty and ESPN:
Ron Artest has been traded to the Rockets for Donte Green, some other guy, a pick and come cash and did I mention DONTE GREEN. Cisco will be seeing significantly more minutes, and with Green, Kevin Miller and whoever else is on their team, the Kings should be pretty exciting to watch this season. I think with Artest gone, the way could be paved for a big big season for Francisco.
If anyone is currently unaffiliated with an NBA team or maybe looking to fill the hole in their heart where U of L football recently was, there is a clear answer as to who can slide neatly into that Cardinal-shaped void: The Sacramento Kings are far and away the most compelling team to watch in the NBA from a Louisville perspective, with Ron-Ron gone and Francisco almost certain to be breaking out right about the time the Fighting Kragthorpes are breaking down this fall. There is no reason not to jump on the Kings bandwagon now give yourself a glimmer of hope to see you through what will almost certainly be a long and dismal winter (except for Bilal Powell).

I'm a Sac native
who is also a UofL alum and I could not be happier about this issue. That being said, Greene or Salmons will still be starting at the 3, but the community of Sac is still banking on Garcia being the 6th or 7th guy off the bench. Depending on what happens with the PG situation, Garcia will most likely see a lot of time and will be in line for a decent payday. Most likely the MLE. That means he will be between 5 and 6m per year. Not bad and I could not be happier to have UofL former player on my NBA team.
I love the smell of commerce in the morning
