Shenard Holton commits to Louisville

Steve Kragthorpe landed the third member of his 2009 recruiting class when Warren East standout Shenard Holton committed to Louisville on Friday.
As a junior in 2008, the 6-foot, 200 lbs. safety/running back recorded 116 tackles and four interceptions, while also rushing for 712 yards and 13 touchdowns and catching 23 passes for 566 yards and six more scores.
Though the shifty Holton possesses 4.5 speed and great instincts with the football in his hands, his future likely lies on the defensive side of the ball at the safety position.
By all accounts, a great get for U of L.
