Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Hot News......

I just got a response from the email I sent to TJ the other day telling him how much we appreciate all that he has done and continues to do for U of L.  In that email I told him I hoped if the BE came calling that he wouldn't leave Louisville/U of L to answer that call.  He emailed me today  i.e...." Linda, rest assured I am NOT interested in the Big East Commissioner's position".  (he capitalized the NOT ).  He went on to say that he IS interested in securing a good replacement for Tranghese.  I am so glad to hear that TJ would not be interested in leaving for that position because I do feel as though he will be on the BE short list of possible replacements.

From the blogs below, looks like we've veered from the content of my Hot News blog - I hope you are all as happy as I am that the news from TJ is good.

Hey BIG DOGS...guess what?

I know all you hot shots are well connected with inside sources and all that schmoozola…but it looks like Miss Linda just SCOOPED all of you on TJ and the Big E Commish dealio …can you spell "straight from the horse’s mouth?" (Be sure and notice my picture.)

Way to go, Miss Linda! Just goes to show that you can run with ‘em. No need to stay on the porch any more.

Thanks.....

Frank, for getting my back on the other blog in your response to the “lurker” fan…...I got yours too if needed. For the record, not that anyone cares….I am NOT anti-UK TEAMS – I thought Tubby was great and a class act. I had to love the Pitino teams at UK -It’s the FANS that drive me almost insane. For years, YEARS I tell you – I smiled when they won, had nice things and ONLY nice things to say to them when they won OR lost and for my years of trying to be a good person, they ALWAYS came back and slammed U of L or TRASHED U of L( back in those days I was fan of U of L , UK and IU – still like IU). I found out pretty quickly that I could NOT be a U of L fan AND a U of K fan and my groveling to UK fans was over !!! I am a FREE woman….. Whew, I feel so much better, Thanks Dr. Frank. hehehe

Sorry

I really meant no disrespect. I was just making an observation. You are absolutely entitled to your thoughts and opinions. I did not mean to upset you and apologize if I did. I thought all was ok as Frankpos seemed to be chatting civilly with me. My “Nice” response was not to yours, it was to the poster that called me “stupid.” I guess I should have just stayed a “lurker.” I was just interested in your passion and curious as to whether or not it was about more than your run-of-the-mill rivalry. Again, I am sorry for any trouble I may have caused.

You Guys

You and Mr Blunt (did you know that his brain was massive?—you can almost tell by the picture—weighed in at an impressive 38 lbs, more than the combined weight of Marshall Holman and Mark Roth’s bowling balls) are great together.
Enjoyin’ life, are you? Keep on.
Roz

P.S. Mr Blunt was so self effacing, humble, and so not self absorbed, that the man who spoke of algorhythms and invented theories about Pythagoros’ sign above his door at Columbia simple said, “Mr Blunt.”

well what about the PAC 10

He did make sure to say the BE commish, Pac-10 just opened up, wonder if he has any interest in moving back west.

Hey MarkJohn.....

if the Pac-10 situation or even the Notre Dame AD job become topics of discussion relative to TJ, I will give emailing him another shot to see if he will respond. I hope he is not interested in going east, west, north or south…..it sure appears as though he and his family are REALLY at home in Louisville.
