Duke won the lawsuit brought against U of L for breach of contract. They did so by claiming ANY team in the nation would be just as good as them.

Yeah, I saw that in the C-J

The judge wryly noted that Louisville could not refute such logic!

(The judge was shown Duke’s record of 6-45 over the last, oh, few yrs….)

I saw it ....

this morning. I didn’t even know U of L sued Duke. I can’t believe their record and that U of L would evev care enough to sue them. Nice try. Just a thought, I wonder if Duke would consider leaving the ACC (football only of course) and joining the BE Football Conference….hehehe

I don't mean to laugh

...but this is pretty damn funny. Louisville got seriously screwed by this ruling.

How low can you go...?

When a judge officially declares to the full extent of the law, that legally… you suck. That’s low.

But, could that effect recruiting?

No. In a recent survey, less than 1% of respondents knew that Duke even HAD a fooball team. The survey was taken by a Duke University professor…..ON the Duke University campus.

Reporting live from nowhere near the Duke University campus, I’m Mr. Blunt…planning to stay that way.
