PrintDid everyone see the Top 25 in College Basketball last night? U of L is 5th.....multiple BE teams in the top 25 - only one SEC.....we should be in for an exciting ride this year. What do you think about U of L sitting at 5th? I was surprised that UConn was ranked lower than U of L but I don't keep up with them unless it's just before a game...are they a little down this year? I know that got that guy that UK courted (sorry, can't think of his name but he was here for the All Stars game and I read in the paper where the yUK fans chanted UK to him as he left the floor. I think he's 7' tall. What IS his name? (I hate these senior moments...) By the way, I didn't see yUK on the Top 25 list....hmmmmmmmmmmmm. ;o)

I saw one on Rivals that had UL ranked one slot below Oklahoma. WTF? Didnt we kick their butts in the tourney? Please tournament Gods….let Oklahoma be one of the high seeds in our bracket.

This year U of L has the talent to actually STAY #5 or go even higher. Cards could be really scarry like Georgetown was last year.

you have one of the top recruiting classes in the country with a whole lot of talent coming back – rock on CARDS !

...classes don’t mean all that much. Unless, of course, you like evalutating high school boys :)
The right class can make a difference
UCLA doesnt make the Final Four without Kevin Love last year.
Memphis doesnt make the Final Four without Derrick Rose.
USC and KState probably dont make the tourney without Mayo and Beasley.
Ohio State doesnt make the final game 2 years ago without Oden and Conley.
Samuels can make a difference. Recruiting rankings mean very little outside the top 5. If you make it into the elite, very few miss.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I think the #5 spot is a good place to be and I look for us to hold on to it or go higher…...
point well taken...
so guess I’ll rely on the guys coming back – I think E5 and TWill and the rest of the guys will hold on to that top 10 ranking…..
