Somebody tell...
Billy Clyde that there is a kid here in Louisville (at the Christian Daycare Center) who rocks. He's 37 inches tall and can really move. He has great moves to the basket but he has a tendency to put the ball down a lot instead of jammin' it....those Lil' Tykes baskets move though and he knows he could tip the goal if he smashes it too hard. While I was in the nursery/gym watching him yesterday, there was a buzz in the crowd and someone said that they heard that Billy Clyde was coming to watch this kid and that little Tommy (they call him LT for short - he IS short.....) had received over 500 letters already from UK fans and administration. LT is a work in progress but shows a lot of po'. Just wanted to give you all a heads up. There were several hard nosed UK fans there yesterday trying to teach him how to say UK but, well his attention span isn't very developed yet and that may cause Billy Clyde to give the kid another year or two to develope.

A Day Late
By the way, James Gandolfini, Tony Soprano, will star as Mr Vaccaro in an HBO drama about the former corporate footward pimp. Evidently, it will be written by the guy who writes "Friday Night Lights."
Guilty pleasure number 1412, I like "Friday Night Lights," both the TV series and the movie. Try not to hold it against me.
Have a great night, Roz
LOL
Good times.
I got married on April 19th. Billy Clyde called me on April 22nd during my honeymoon in Jamaica wanting me to commit my unconceived child to the Wildcats. I told the drunk freak to leave me alone because I'm not talking to college coaches at least until the egg is fertilzed. Then I'll listen to offers.

You underestimate LT
preventing him from uttering UK.
His IQ was just too advanced...
they'll never get him now
Personally, I think its funny
Honestly, its hedging our bet on a potentially top-25 guy. And its a long-shot at best -- a verbal really means nothing nowadays. The only thing the NCAA recognizes is the LOI.
So if Pitino goes out and wraps up a 15-year-old verbal in the next 6-12 months, can we revisit this post and all laugh? (That is, unless the NCAA steps in and prevents kids from verbaling until they're juniors, which I'm not for sure they can do.)
Fire Billy? Nahhh

funny indeed
I could be wrong on his name and what grade he was in when he first gave his verbal, but I almost certain it was a 9th grader...
And like it has been said...
Verbally Committed means JACK! Look where Scotty Hopson is now... Man I would have liked him to join the Cards... Hes already projected as the 19th draft pick in 2009 draft.... He'll be another great loss for the state...

Buckles
I don't remember anything about him committing as a freshman, but it might have happened.
