Lipscomb stuns Georgia 10-7

And tonight's game just got that much more important.

Not only does a win put you in prime position to be undefeated on Sunday, but you don't want to face Georgia on its own field in an elimination game.

The Bisons (apparently "Mooses" was taken) homered three times and scored four runs in the fifth to shock the tournament's No. 8 seed.

Georgia, the SEC regular season champion, has now lost five times in its last six games.

In other Regional action, St. John's, the only other Big East team in the field of 64, elected to save Big East Pitcher of the Year George Brown, and still upset second-seeded Texas 2-1.

The Johnnies will now likely face Regional host Rice tomorrow.
