Donte Greene signs with an agent
Syracuse forward Donte Greene told The Post-Standard's Mike Waters today that he has signed with Louisville-based agent Bill Strickland, and that he is 100% staying in the NBA Draft.
Greene, like West Virginia's Joe Alexander, received a "Physical Only" invite to the Pre-Draft Camp in Orlando, meaning he is expected to be selected fairly early in the first round.
Greene averaged 17.7 ppg to lead the Orange in scoring as a freshman, but was often criticized for his lack of effort on defense, as well as his affinity for hanging out on the perimeter instead of using his combination of size and athleticism to score closer to the basket. His expected departure means that Jim Boeheim will have to rely on the developing games of Arizne Onuaku and Kristof Ongeanet as well as the undersized Paul Harris to hold down the frontcourt in the upcoming season.
He becomes the first Big East underclassmen to sign with an agent.

...Yeah, that default avatar looked a little too much like the real me. (I’m only serious…actually, I think I saw him on the coverr of Mott The Hoople’s epic 1972 album “All The Young Dudes” and have been having nightmares about his visage ever since I got “defaulted.” “
Donte was instrumental in the ‘Cuse magnanimous collapse in the final minutes against Pitt at the Dome in Syracuse. Boeheim, to reload , most likely will take a long weekend in the DC area and recruit someone just as good or better. Maybe he can’t coach, but he sure can recruit.
Post Hypnotic suggestion (i.e., “Mind Eff”: Try not to think about the Default Avatar as sleep comes dearly tonight.

One less thing
I wasnt concerned with Syracuse but this makes it even better. The Big East is already a bear and every bit of weakening of the competition is good for us. Tis the facts of life.
