Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

My source now reports BOTH will be back!

He just emailed me.

Long-timers on this Board -- Mike included-- know that when I mention this source, it is from deep in the program, and  the Word is always true.

Unless DC shoots somebody before the presser

BOTH Earl and DC will be back on the team.

Star-divide

I'm taking  my pants off!!

Standards Of Silly Puddy
So much for Rick's casting E5 forever out of the Promised Land...so much for Caracter, too, also cast out, but in his case, to roam in stigmata, to comb the corners of the globe in search of ANY Thursday nite beer league that would pay him to play.

Suddenly our coach's resolve has weakend, just a bit, and it appears he will make nice-nice with the two who would leave him.

I held out the allusion that Coach Pitino was a little less mercenary than I might have thought.  Oh my, Dick Enberg, is my naivete showing!  Now we all have to double clutch and make believe that there never really was any resolve by Rick.  None at all.  I keep forgetting all of this is Big Business.  I just hope the university doesn't forget YOU GUYS when they move downtown, and hope they don't earmark YOUR season tickets for some suits from the corporation.

Four kisses for Earl and Derrick.  One for each cheek.

Linda, have a great birthday!  Friday is always the best day for a B Day.

Goodnight from the beautiful (70's today, tomorrow, all weekend) East.

The interesting part to me is that my source
indicated

DC

is  coming back.

This source knows what the coaches know

DC
then why didn't UL say he is coming back along with earl in the press release tonight? Did your source say that?

Dc
So summer school maybe?

Mike is correct
but can be overcome

frankly Earl to me is the true prize

and DC can fall by the wayside

one = two
package deal. But I for one think it's a pretty excellent package.
The whole thing seems too surreal for me to believe. Why does the guy say he's leaving then weeks later totally pivot? I don't get it, but I love it.

DC
Is the Key to next season. If he can shine in the spot light next season the sky is the limit for this team. Earl is great but he needs a dominant big man that demands double and triple teams to do his thing. DC just needs to stay out of foul trouble and hit a better free throw %. Our front court depth is sick!!!

DC
He can't come back, he's hired an agent. Therefore he's ineligble to return to the VILLE.

Who said
He's hired an agent. First I've heard of that.

DC: don't go away mad, just go away
A walking turnover/foul, and a constant distraction.

DC
I guess I'm glad to hear he's coming back.  I have heard enough credible sources, namely Brother Frank, to believe it's the case.

My Lord, Louisville is going to be talented next year, and DC has as much potential as any player we have.  In the hands of a lesser coach, I'd be very skeptical of his ability to change is attitude, grow up, etc.  But if CRP accepts him back, then that's good enough for me.

Think of Ellis Myles as a good example of what CRP can do with a wayward yet talented young player; except that DC is much more talented than Ellis ever was.  The question is, can DC display Ellis' heart/guts?  We will see.

My Lord, Louisville is going to be loaded.

The suit rules.  (Not the white one that CRP bought for the Georgetown game, but the one from Eastern Kentucky.)

im guessing that your "source"
either lied or were wrong on this one...

Sad Day for me..

Not quite yet, sir...
That was frankly what I expected Rick to say today--or something close to it

Because the sweating and "instruction" of DC is not

quite done yet...

If it was a definite NO right now, then Rick would not waste any time going on about it

But...keep in mind that everything on DC is day-to-day based on his attitude

and has been since my post

We've got the big fish (Earl)

Let's just watch...for awhile

Wait
...wait just a second, Jimmy. It's certainly possible that Frank's source neither lied nor got in wrong.
And don't be so sad, dude.  You know as well as anybody that this Soap Opera has had more twists and red herrings than an O Henry short story.

Was it Soren Kierkegaard, Voltaire, or Yogi Berra who said that thing about "it not being over until..."?  In other words, he still might be back.
Cheer up, Jimmy Cliff.
P.S.  I loved that song you did, "If You Like Pina Colada's."   Did you do "Kokomo", as well?
Lets all sing it together.

"Everybody knows
A little place like Kokomo
Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take you
Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go
Jamaica

Off the Florida Keys
There's a place called Kokomo
That's where you wanna go to get away from it all

Bodies in the sand
Tropical drink melting in your hand
We'll be falling in love
To the rhythm of a steel drum band
Down in Kokomo."

Shake it, Linda...Frank, you got the steel drum, right?  Mike, pass me a rocket...151 proof mai tai, easy on the pineapple, hard on the rum, encased in a hollowed out coconut shell.  Thanks, buddy.  Take your pants off if you like.

Next time we'll do Mungo Jerry, "In The Summertime".

Smiles all around.
