Scotty Hopson commits to Tennessee

At least so says the website GoVolsXtra.com.

What the hell isn't going to happen today?

These April fools jokes are getting out of hand

OK, just to recap...
  1.  DC = NOT going pro last year
  2.  DC = going pro this year
  3.  RP = NOT IUs coach
  4.  Tom Cream = IUs coach
  5.  UK/UL game = sunday
  6.  Scotty Hopson = UT Volunteer
  7.  Bill Keightley = dead
  8.  Marvin stone = dead
got it.

In that case... good luck to DC, renew the IU rivalry, kill the UK rivalry, start the UT rivalry, and my heart goes out to the families Marvin and Bill.

After reading that recap, Phauz,
I looked out my front window. So much weird shit has happened in the last 24 hours, I was half-expecting to see the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse galloping across my front lawn. After we lost the G.D. game on Saturday, I foolishly but hopefully thought we were entering into a blah period for awhile. Sadly, no.

All this bizarre stuff has forced me to venture into my basement to retrieve my homeland security preparedness kit filled with duct tape, plastic wrap, tin foil, and Seasons 1-7 of MacGyver. If one more nutty thing happens, I'll have to go into a Code Red status lockdown until Thunder.

MacGyver/"Fizzie's" Reference
But MacGyver would produce a 6'10" intelligent center, who could pass from the high post, hook with both hands, rebound a little, and be the Floor General.
And all of this from a paper clip, a piece of used Juicy Fruit gum, a Fizzie's tablet, and a plastic black comb which only had four teeth.

Have a good one, Lisa.

Wish I had read...
...this before commenting on Crean post.  Weird news day.

Still got two top 15 guys
Samuels and Jennings are both beasts and if they can acclimate themselves quickly, we can be a really good team next year.

I want that Final Four.

I want that National Championship
We need it to get out of that ever growing layer of teams with 2 titles: Michigan State, UConn, Cincinnati, Kansas, etc.

We've been a better program than them all-time and I want another banner to show for it.

Except for Kansas
They've been to a few more FF's.

by CKYCardFan on Apr 2, 2008 9:50 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Add to that
Oklahoma State, San Francisco, and NC State each have 2 titles apiece as well.

And Florida
How could I forget Florida?

Yeah, we need another title to separate ourselves from the pack.

YES! We need another championship!
In fact,  we are the 7th best program of All Time-- named by more than one big time news outlet, and supported by a ton of stats.

I reacquainted myself with this history...

I'm Rootin' For Kansas
As Lisa, said, the birth of basketball...I'd love to get to Fogg Allen some day...

Carolina?  ...can't root for them here, and I thought it was chicken shinola for Roy to leave Kansas...Hell, he was building his own Carolina right there.  Just as "nobody puts Baby in the corner", nobody's gonna replace Dean Smith.

UCLA?  I'm ambivalent?  One plus is the Pitt connection.

Memphis?  I don't like him.  I always thought John Chaney was wrong, but now I wish he had succeeded when he so eloquently said to Cal, "I'm gonna kick your ass."

So I guess I'm with Bill Self...it's gonna be a good night...only wish The Birds were there.

Kansas here too
Because in the best bracket I have left I have them taking it all.
