So, Pitt, ND, and G-Town potentially
sheesh!

Funny...
Even though we beat ND (and were beating them soundly until that once-in-a-lifetime flurry) and lost to UConn (even though we played like crap and should have won).
Shouldn't it be the opposite? Shouldn't we be more worried about the team we haven't proven we can beat?

Pitt
Pitt is good, but they are much tougher at home than in the Garden. Plus will be good payback for last year. They played about as perfect of a game against us as they could and we still beat them, so as long as we don't miss a dozen open 3's, we'll be good to go.
I think we're a #3 seed no matter what in the NCAA, so while a loss would suck ass, I don't think it moves us down to the 4-line. Other teams are losing too, not just us.

A 1 seed would have been nice
Also I think if we win this thing we get a 2 seed in the NCAA tourney. Right?

I think if we beat G'Town in the finals
Of course we always end up with a worse seed than I predict - even when I go with what I think is realistic and not what we deserve - so I'll be less than optimistic regardless of how he perform in New York.

We fighting for 2 thru 4
more likely to be treated harshly with a 4 if we flame-out than nicely with a 2 if we win it all

I think
1-2 wins - #3 seed
3 wins - #2 seed

The future
But in the national tournament eventually you're going to have to shoot the ball well to win. And let's face it, this is not a good shooting team. Eventually we'll play someone with a talent level on offense that will manufacture shots in the face of our extreme ball pressure -- which I believe is among the best in the country.
If we can score on that night, we'll upset the higher seeded team. If we can't, we won't. Perhaps we'll suddenly start shooting the lights out in the tournament. I hope so. But my fear is that our lack of a pure lights-out, consistent shooter (I'm thinking Dell Curry's son here) may be our undoing.
