2008 Card Chronicle Bracket Challenge

Only because I can't stand Blocky getting any attention.

Despite my loathing of the exclamation point, we're going to use Yahoo!.

So here's what you need to do:

  1. Sign up for a Yahoo account if you don't already have one.
  2. Go here and click "Join A Group."
  3. Then use the league ID (114886) and the league password ("goggles") to sign in.
There will be no prizes awarded to the winner, but Yahoo! and Card Chronicle have teamed up, and are set to award $5 million to anyone who picks every game correctly.

Should be a lot of fun.

Ya know what.
I am gonna start my own bracket pool, but mine is going to have hookers! And Blackjack!

ya know what, forget the pool. I'll just stick with the other stuff.

Bracket Challenge Indeed
...I don't know what got in to me, but the next thing I know, I'm over to Yahoo, filling out one of those damn things even though I just denounced them!!  Now I'll be exposed (not Governor Spitzer style) and everybody will see just how little I know about basketball.  Funny how I kept clicking Big East teams to advance.  Gotta stick together like those old time Tammany Hall Democrats, right?
Have a nice night, Roz

Tammany Hall references are few and far between
on this or any sports blog

but a nice esoteric Big East analogy

for those of us who remember a bit of history

(OK, I lived it--I'm 221 yrs old. I've got DANCARD beat by 109 yrs I believe)

Tried the coin flip...
except couldn't find a coin.

Howard Johnson book of matches, and...

Congratulations, CSU Fullerton!  I had to break out the baseball mitt to recall what the CSU stood for.
