Getting Tickets
How do we get tickets for these games? When are the times announced so that we know what session we are supposed to buy? Should I just buy through Ebay or stubhub or do you all have another suggestion? I want to see us play Tennessee but first Ill go watch UL vs BSU. Does anyone know a good way to get tickets for these games?
I dont see a problem getting tickets to our first game. Boise and Oklahoma wont be able to travel as well as us to steal our tickets. If we make it to play Tennessee good luck getting tickets over UNC fans when the game is basicly in their backyard.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville has received a limited supply of tickets for its appearance in the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament first/second round site in Birmingham, Ala.
Season ticket holders who submitted NCAA post-season ticket request forms and were selected in the lottery will be contacted by email no later than Monday evening. Those tickets will be available for pickup at the Brown and Williamson Club, located on the third floor of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. or Thursday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
U of L students who have season tickets may sign up for a ticket lottery by visiting the U of L ticket office located on the third floor in the Swain Student Activities Center. Those who enter the ticket lottery will be notified by email by Tuesday evening and will be notified with the procedure to pick up their tickets in Birmingham.
U of L will also accept additional ticket requests on a waiting list by calling (502) 852-5151 or 852-5863 starting Monday at 9 a.m. U of L is trying to obtain additional tickets at the Birmingham site.
With only a limited number of tickets available within U of L's allotment, the best way to purchase tickets is through Southtix. Cardinal fans may purchase tickets online for $153 plus service fees by visiting www.southtix.com online or calling 1-800-732-4849.
The No. 3 seeded Cardinals will face No. 14 seed Boise State in the NCAA Tournament first round on Friday, March 21 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Arena in Birmingham, Ala. Game times will be announced later.
"We're excited to be in the NCAA Tournament as a number three seed in the East," said Cards' head coach Rick Pitino. "I think it's a great compliment to us having played the sixth-toughest schedule in the nation and competing in the nation's toughest conference. For our fans, it's a wonderful journey because Birmingham is just a short trip away."
Travel packages are available through Champion Sports Tours. Reservations will be accepted beginning Monday at 8:30 a.m. by calling toll free at 866-995-7444, or online at www.championsportstours.com.

The last time the Cards were in B'ham in 2003,
If I went back down to B'ham to see this year's games, there is NO WAY I would buy tickets from either ticketbastard or UofL. I would take my chance on the street. Granted, this is a risk, but before you buy online, just consider the other teams in B'ham--particularly in our session--and whether or not they will travel.
