Lamar gets snubbed

In a big blow to Lamar, he did not receive an invite to the NFL combine almost killing his chances at being a first day draft pick.

From what I have read it looks like some disjointed information lead to this. Lamar gets a draft pick rating of 3 or 4 round, hires an agent, then the snub. Kinda like this time in high school when a girl gave me her phone number and than never picked up my phone calls no matter, how early, late, or often I called. Then had the audacity to block my number! You still have a window in your room Carin, try blocking that!

Lamar
What surprised me so much about Myles' decision was that - to my knowledge - he had put his name out there for feelers, and hadn't received the type of feedback he was hoping for. Maybe something changed in the two weeks or so after that time, or maybe he was just so set on bouncing that he decided he didn't care what anyone said.

This is obviously a big blow for his draft stock, but in reality the difference between 3rd round pick and 6th round pick is virtually meaningless. If he lands in the right situation and shows the same things we saw all last season, he'll have a decent shot at making a roster.

Looks Like
he will be looking for a new agent soon... Do you think his lack of size (mainly in height) had a lot to do with the decision not to be invited?
He has always looked rather 5'10''ish..

Combine=Overrated
I don't quite understand the importance of the combine.  Isn't it simply measuring things?  If Myles truly runs a 4.5 and benches 500 lbs, I'm quite confident that will get noticed wherever he is.

I saw him last week...
...walking into the Norton Hospital Women's Pavilion wearing a black U of L football sweatsuit with #22s on it.

I don't think he was visiting sick kids or anything like that because he was clearly there with the rather robustly pregnant white girl who waddled in in front of him.

If she was just a friend, then he's a great guy...if not it explains why he feels like he needs to get his first paycheck sooner than later.
