Marques Maybin weekend

A tremendous shooter with an infectious smile who was a faint ray of light during an otherwise extremely dark period for the Louisville basketball program.

I couldn't be happier that he's going to be spotlighted for the next three days.

one of my favorite players

moved here in ’93 and I can honestly say that Maybin carried the torch Wheat established for me as a new fan to what Cardinal basketball is. One of my all time favorites. Always smiling and seemed to have that pure joy of playing the sport. I think its awesome that the university is helping him out.

(dont miss the L on the jersey though..never understood that change)
