I am a huge Louisville fan...but several observations.

First off,  If you're going to shoot a ton of threes, (and hope to hit a decent percentage) you need good long range shooters.  Louisville has one Jerry Smith.  (I don't count Will Scott, because the guy doesn't get enough minutes - I know he can shoot) We don't have Taquan, Griffith, Jeff Hall, Milt, or a host of others.  Two signs of good shooters 1. Look at there field goal percentage and 2. Look at their free throw percentage.  If you can't shoot 80% from the free throw line, you're not a good shooter - PERIOD!!) Pitino has to find a way to get Jerry Smith more '3' looks  (similar to the way Duke did with J.J. Reddick).  The Cards miss David Padgett a lot! The guy had all those intangibles that don't show up in the stat sheet.  He was  a natural leader and had a fantastic understanding of the game and his role.  T-Will is like T-Mac...great talent but just doesn't have that leadership ability.  I don't think the cards have a true leader which is why I think they'll under achieve this year.  Also, they've got to establish a better inside game and better interior passing (another thing Padgett brought to the team last year).  If you have T-Will, E-5 and Samuels on the front line and you get out rebounded!!!???....are you f........kidding me!!!  I could go on and on.........but I'll end it here.  Thanks for reading.
