Three different prospects for arena naming rights?
I'm sure UPS, Humana and YUM are among the usual suspects.

The Bucket
I have heard from a Marketing teacher at UofL who met with the company trying to obtain the naming rights sponsorship that YUM, and more specifically KFC, want to call the arena “The Bucket.”
The name would be like no other, but it also furthers the stereotype of the south with Fried Chicken.

Don't forget
LG&E/E.on might be interested too. Especially if the the CJ article holds true and the arena goes “green.” I would not be the least bit supprised.
How great would it be to get some fried chicken and bourbon at a UL game? Exactly.

Wow..Darryl Issacs looks like Lou Ferrigno without the green paint. And the idea of playing in an arena called the bucket would be the stupidest shit ever mentioned. And they wonder why the image of Ky is us having sex with our cousins and walking around barefoot with bibbs and no shoes on( Nappy Roots didn’t help us one bit). That in my words would be upsurd. The LG&E idea would be cool, and then that would give them a reason to lower our damn bills making that arena money..lol..Honestly it would be cool if Ky could get away from the chicken look.

This is our city
This is our state. KFC & YUM’s world HQ are here, and they give generously, I think they’re a great fit for the arena and the Bucket could be cool.
I also think that it would become the E.ON Center before it could be LG&E Arena. E.ON is sponsoring the FA Cup and a bunch of other sports in Europe. If they pay for anything here, I would imagine that they would use their name.

ESPN WOULD MAKE A MOCKERY OF AN ARENA IN LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY NAMED THE BUCKET. DO WE REALLY NEED THOSE TYPES OF SETBACKS.HAVE YOU SEEN HOW OUT OF TOWNERS LOOK AT US BEFORE THEY FIND OUT THE TRUTH.SO A MOCKERY OF A NAME WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE IT WORSE.I MEAN IN THE END I DON’T CARE BECAUSE IT’S ULTIMATLEY SOMETHING I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER,AND MY BOYS WILL BE GOING HARD IN A BRAND NEW ARENA.BUT E.ON ARENA WOULD BE WAY COOLER AND MORE UP TO THE CENTURY OF A NAME THAN THE BUCKET.THAT’S JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION AND VIEWS OF IT.
