Does anyone know if..
Krag is talking to Mr Football? It seems strange that U of L isn't mentioned as being on his list when the kid is friends with Victor Anderson. I know he's small but he can play. When Koach had the now famous presser, he said he was going after local kids - was that just something to say? I wonder why he hasn't talked to Deuce Finch? I don't want him going to yUK.

From what I've heard...
…U of L has been in contact and in the past and Deuce isn’t that interested.
My source has a brother who is also a senior @ St. X and the word around school is that he’d like to go to Stanford. Now this this information comes from a soccer player so I don’t know how close he is to Deuce.
I do agree with you Linda that it would totally suck to watch him go to UK. Stanford I could live with. Because if he really wants a great education and to play football then I doubt there is anything that Krags can say that would convince him that U of L is better for his longterm future than going to one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Ditto
Deuce apparently has no interest in being a Cardinal.

uh....
please tell me why ANYONE who is interested in going to Stanford would consider……yUK? Would he be switching his major to one related to agriculture or equine studies?……talk about from one extreme to the other…….I sure wish U of L would take a run on him whether he’s expressed interest or not. Good RB and I hate to see him slip away….slip slidin’ away.
top four schools
according to rivals.com are boston college, cincinnati, Illinois, and Kentucky. Stanford is listed under low interest. His page was updated yesterday.

A | A | A LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – St. Xavier running back Rolandan
“Deuce” Finch has been selected as this year’s Mr. Football.
The senior ran for 1,397 yards and 30 touchdowns this season for
the Tigers, who fell to Trinity in the Class 6A semifinals last
weekend.
Finch was slowed most of the season by a knee injury, but went
through a sizzling stretch at the end of the season when he ran for
more than 1,100 yards and 22 touchdowns in the Tigers’ final eight
games.
Finch is the first St. Xavier player to win the Mr. Football
award. Glaser said Finch is still mulling scholarship offers,
though Kentucky and Illinois are both in the running.
Other players receiving votes for Mr. Football were South Laurel
quarterback Ricky Bowling, Trinity linebacker Jordan Whiting,
Franklin-Simpson quarterback Courtney Dalcourt and North Bullitt
running back Dalton Cissell.

Dale Martin
I think the running back that you all may be thinking about is Dale Martin. I believe he was from Illinois, but don’t recall were he transfered to.
