Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

This is exactly why....

Coach K said not to overlook a good (although its a stretch) Syracuse team.  If our coach says the team is terrible the team will prepare and play like the team is terrible. The team came out flat for a team that they should not have underestimated.  Yes Syracuse is not the best team, but they are a team that can  did beat us.

Oh and that last play of the game was for sure pass interference.  Impeding a receivers route is considered pass interference.

GO CARDS!  I still love you even though you make me feel like shit sometimes.

So it was the team , not the Koaches...who looked past this game?

The coaches MUST get the players up for a game like this

if they don’t something is just totally wrong…

and indeed, there is

Either way if a coach blew off any team....

he would be a piss poor coach. I’m just saying there was a lot of hate around here for him saying that the Louisville team didn’t need to overlook this team. We as fans can say that we think Syracuse is junk, blah blah, but the main leader of the team (Headcoach) should not.

The coaches can’t make the players get up for a game either. I played in high school and its up to the team leaders (as in players) to keep the team motivated. The coaches can preach and preach about not overlooking teams, but it’s the players that need to motivate each other (as well as the coaching staff).

All I’m saying is the coach was not wrong for saying to not look over Syracuse. Should we have won? Hell yes. Am I pissed about it? Hell yes. But we played as if we should have been given the win, instead of earning the win.

Beaumont got tackled on his way to the ball. for sure

The whole ESPN U telecast was pretty bad though.. Woodny had a reception (Chris Vaughn in real life).. Vic Anderson is apparently a senior now, and Bill Ashburn is returning kickoffs now? 4th string QB out there to return our kicks… yeah good work announcers

??

to Civicman..I feel you partially. But for a coach not be able to motivate a team to play…lol…come on man.I played sports also, all my life, but when our coach told us to hand another team their ass,we handed them their ass! If he told us to be a team by 20,we put 25 on em’.The point is if a coach can’t motivate or control his team…then does he really deserve to be a coach???
