Media Day news coverage

I can see us getting off to a slow start because of:
1) the new emphasis on running, which is different than last year’s offensive strategy
2) Samardo and T.J. being new — they may be talented, but they have to fit into the system
3) T-will being absent. One thing from Crawford’s article this morning was that Pitino yelled at them for Earl doing 1-on-1 moves and everyone else not moving. I can easily see Earl trying to score 20 per game because he has the ability to, and usually he can beat his guy 1-on-1, but that’s not good for the team. And without T-will in there to help distribute at practice, I can easily see them looking rusty early on.

That said, we are going to be so f’in good and the OOC games aren’t super scary so we should win just on talent. We could easily drop a Big East game we shouldn’t early on, but by February this team will be so sick good again (knock on red-painted wood no more injuries obv).

So excited. But def. preparing self if things start slow.
