David Padgett wins dance contest
Awesome.
David Padgett, the 6-11 rookie center from Louisville, won the young player dance contest. Mario Chalmers refused to dance, citing a lack of skill. Michael Beasley practically refused to dance for the same reason, but he threw down a couple of moves. Daequan Cook, a second-year player, had some decent moves. But Padgett stole the show with his goofy dance steps. The team loved it. The crowd loved it. He won when Cook basically refused to participate in the dance-off. Here’s hoping Padgett gets a job somewhere in the league this season.
