For whatever reason, I'm having a harder time getting excited for this weekend's football game than I have for any in recent memory. Still, our enthusiasm, or lack thereof, doesn't change the fact that a number of high-profile football and basketball recruits will be in attendance, making a good showing from both the team and the fans that much more important.

• Mike Privott (Louisville commit)
• Timothy Smith (Top 50 receiver out of Chesapeake, Va.)
• Julius Forte (Rivals.com's No. 44 defensive end)
• Marcus McNeal (Speedy Fla. receiver down to U of L, Ole Miss and West Virginia)
• Mywan Jackson (Gifted Fla. athlete with offers from Michigan, Auburn and West Virginia, among others)
• Petey Smith (Four-star linebacker with offers from Tennessee, Florida, Alabama and Auburn, among others)

BASKETBALL

• Peyton Siva (Louisville commit)
• Aaron Dotson (Four-star guard out of Seattle who is close with Siva as well as class of 2010 and 2011 studs Josh Smith and Tony Wroten)
